It is often difficult to prepare adult meals that my kids like the same way. It’s because of this that one is always looking for an efficient idea for lunch or dinner that will satisfy everyone. My friends and I always try to share ideas on how to improve our traditional recipes. And what happens when you have several guests for dinner, and many of them are kids? It can become a daring and interesting challenge for those of us who work with cooking, as it gives us the opportunity to innovate, as well as create and share everything that comes out from our kitchens.

For some time already, it has become almost a tradition to get together with a group of friends on Fridays at dinner time, and then we enjoy a movie or a game. These are the moments in which we have to try making a single dish so that we don’t spend that much time cooking, so it’s not an option to prepare a whole menu for people to pick from. As you can see, you have to follow a path of relative simplicity so that these get-togethers don’t turn into moments of stress for not achieving the absolute best meal, or also limiting ourselves to just eat pizza, being that there’s so many other things that may be prepared.

So, it was thanks to Ragú® and one of its Saucesome recipes that I found the perfect dinner for everyone, i.e. for the young and the grown-ups. Since tomato sauce is often liked by children, it’s always a perfect companion to pasta, pizza, and now also with this spectacular chicken recipe, thanks to Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce.

Of course, I wanted to also give my own twist to the recipe, and that’s why I decided to fill each chicken fillet with a slice of ham, which gave the recipe an even tastier flavor. Children recognized some flavors on their plates that are frequently found on pizzas, which is why they liked this recipe so much.

Why did I decide to use this sauce for this recipe? Well, because Ragú® is recognizing and celebrating everything that makes family mealtime #Saucesome. Also, Ragú® has the authentic Italian taste, American families love with a variety of great tasting, quick and easy to make family favorite recipes. And more importantly, Ragú® Traditional Sauce has a delicious taste your whole family and friends will love.

My dear son was thrilled with this recipe again, since he is a super fan of pizza, and although I served this recipe with rice for the rest of the family, he just wanted to enjoy this fabulous baked chicken, which (according to him) contained the pizza ingredients. As a result, he was very pleased and happy, just like me.Carolina_Rojas_Ragu_Round2Pic8

    Buenas tardes Carolina:

      Muchos saludos!
