We have now started the school season here in the United States, and the start of school always requires a lot of organization, especially if you have more than one child. But not only our children need attention, but often the schools themselves also have needs. And it’s important, as a community, to be observant of improvement opportunities and trying to contribute to such schools. After all, it’s all for the benefit of our children and their education.<\/p>\n

And by that, I’m not saying that we necessarily have to take money out of our pockets directly, but there are also campaigns such as Tyson Project A+\u2122 that support schools that are nominated.<\/p>\n

And how does this work? Very simple, every time you purchase products that are part of this campaign, the idea is that you cut out and save the labels from each of these products. Then, bring them to the coordinator or manager of the school. The more labels you are able to get, the school will be able to get more cash, which can be used to make any type of repairs or purchases necesary on the school.<\/p>\n

Considering all what I explained on the introduction above is why I would like to nominate Manning Oaks Elementary School<\/a>, which is a school that I learned about last year, located in the area of Alpharetta, GA, in the suburbs of Atlanta. I had the chance to visit their premises earlier this year, and thanks to the School Counselor that was so kind to give us a tour around, we were also able to learn more about how that school works. It’s a fairly large place, with many students, and for this reason they require to have means for renewing many items from time to time. Also, because this is a relatively large place, managing any repairs may also be a big challenge.<\/p>\n

This school participates in this Tyson Project A+\u2122 program, and because of that the money they raise can go towards buying books or computers, making improvements to their classrooms, or anything else they want.<\/p>\n

The school with the most nominations will receive a packet of labels worth $1,000 to help their school get a head start on collecting Tyson Project A+\u2122 labels.<\/p>\n
