Sharing with others should be the main value we should teach our children about, and what better than a good meal to do this!<\/div>\n<div>You can find several recipes for dinner in this blog, but I didn\u2019t have enough ideas for appetizers, which is what we serve before the main course of the dinner. The appetizers I present you here are very popular, and they have many variations. Here I explain to you what I prepare in my house with my little son, who also enjoys them. Add the tahini if you want.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div>Empty the hummus into a ramekin.<\/div>\n<div>Decorate it with a bit of parsley and put a dash of oil on top.<\/div>\n<div>Enjoy the hummus with crackers, or with pita-bread chips (as explained next).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>INGREDIENTS FOR THE PITA BREAD:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1 bag of regular or whole-wheat pita bread<\/div>\n<div>Olive oil.<\/div>\n<div>Oregano to taste.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F (180 \u00b0C).<\/div>\n<div>Cut the pita bread into different shapes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div>\n<div>Lay the shapes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle some olive oil and oregano on top of the pita pieces. It ended up being a lighter version, and ideal to share with the kids.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>GUACAMOLE VERSION N\u00b01\u00a0<\/strong>(4 servings)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00a02 avocados<\/div>\n<div>1 medium tomato, finely chopped<\/div>\n<div>1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro<\/div>\n<div>1\/2 small onion, finely chopped<\/div>\n<div>Oil and salt to taste<\/div>\n<div>1 teaspoon of lemon juice<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>PREPARATION:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Crush the avocados, add the onion, the tomato and cilantro.
